Q. I am running windows update and the operating system is windows xp.. I can download the updates but can't install them.

regsvr32 /s wups2.dll
regsvr32 /s wups.dll
regsvr32 /s wuweb.dll
Copy and paste all of the above into notepad and then save the file using a .bat extension (for example: WinUpdatesFix.bat). Click on the .bat file and a command window will open, run the commands, and then close.
