Uses of toothpaste

Toothpaste, a common item used by all ages in the world. Most of the people think of the icky sticky substance when they hear the word toothpaste. However, do you know that other than brushing your teeth, toothpaste has many other uses?

1- Relieving bug bites, blisters and curing pimples.
Apply some toothpaste on bug bites or blisters can relieve itching and sore effectively. Toothpaste can be also can be used to cure pimples but it is not recommended to apply toothpaste on your face for a long period of time as it can dry up your face.

2 - Remove scratches from a CD.
Apply some toothpaste (must be paste, not gel or it will not work) on a piece of soft and clean cloth. Rub scratches gently with the piece of cloth and rinse the disc with warm water. Remove all the toothpaste and let it dry before trying to play it again.

3 Cleaning sliver jewelry
This method may not work very well on certain types of jewelry so it is advised to do some research before using this method. Apply some toothpaste on your finger and rub on the jewelry. Rinse in cold water and wipe with cloth.

4 Brighten / Whiten clothes
Rub some toothpaste to the area you want to brighten / whiten and wash in cold water(once again, use paste, not gel)
