4 litres in a 5 lt can - Puzzle

Question: Can u solve this puzzle....?? ?

You have two jugs, you are standing beside a well. One jug has a content of 3 ltrs and the other one has a content of 5 ltrs.

How can you get just 4 liters of water using only these two jugs?


Ans: first fill the 5lts full. then pour it in three lts

now u have 2 lts in 5 lts jug. now emply the 3 lts jug.

now put 2 lts which we have in 5 ltr jug in 3 lts jug

Now u have following 2lts in 3 lts jug and 5ltr is empty

fill the 5 ltr full

now three lts has a capacity of one more lts water. fill it from 5 ltr

now you will left with 4 lts water in 5 ltr jug.
