Dixie Sparkle
5 C sugar
7 C water
5 bananas, mashed
1 C lemon juice
1-2/3 C orange juice
Lemon-lime carbonated beverage
Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cook for 5 minutes; cool to room temperature. Combine sugar syrup, bananas, lemon juice and orange juice. Pour into freezer container; freeze until mushy. Spoon mixture into 6 tall glasses; finish filling glasses with carbonated beverage.
