Natural Home Remedies For Fatigue

Fatigue is a bit difficult to define, and can be also called lethargy, exhaustion, listleness, languor, or languidness; essentially it can be used to define a state in which a person essentially feels tired, either mentally or physically. There are many reasons that can lead to fatigue.
The main cause of fatigue is lowered vitality or lack of energy due to wrong feeding habits. The habitual use of refined foods such as white sugar, refined cereals, white flour products, and processed foods have very bad effect on the system in general. Foods 'denatured' in this way are deprived, to a very great extent, of their invaluable vitamins and minerals.
A specific character trait, compulsiveness, can lead to continuous fatigue. Many persons constantly feel that they cannot take rest until they finish everything that needs to be done at one time. These persons are usually tense and cannot relax unless they complete the whole job, no matter how tired they may be.
Certain physical and mental conditions can cause fatigue. These include anaemia, intestinal worms, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, any kind of infection in the body, liver damage, allergy to foods and drugs, insomnia, mental tension, and unresolved emotional problems.
Poisons and toxins resulting from air, soil, and water pollution can also lead to fatigue.

NATURAL HOME REMEDIES :
* Eat small mid-meals at 11 a.m., 4 p.m. and before retiring to bed.
* Seeds, nuts and grains, fruits and vegetables should be included in the diet.
* Sprouts increase nutritional value of foods and create new vitamins.
* Deficiency of Vitamin B and Pantothenic acid causes fatigue.
* Banana, milk, nuts, green leafy vegetables, peas, pulses, whole-grain cereals, rice polishing and yeast should be consumed for the same.
* Calcium, potassium, zinc, sodium and other minerals are also beneficial.
* A combination of carrot juice, beetroot juice and cucumber juice helps overcome fatigue.
* Alcohol, coffee, smoking, eating sweets, aspirin, tranquilizer and other drugs which give only a temporary boost should be avoided.
* Dates (Khajur) are great sources of instant energy. These should be taken regularly along with a glass of milk.
* Add a pinch of cardamom powder to a cup of tea. This relieves physical strain and trounces tiredness.
* Soak 5-6 almond kernels in water overnight. Next morning, drain water and collect the kernels. Remove the husk by rubbing. Grind all the kernels into a fine paste. Mix it with equal quantities of powdered sugar candy and fresh butter. Take this recipe early in the morning along with a cup of milk. It tones up the brain and cures chronic cold, cough, headache etc, provided the recipe is taken continuously over a long period. Also, it acts as a general tonic and relieves physical and mental strain.
* Take time for a little fun and frolic each day, and your tired feeling will disappear. Never let a day go by that you do not enjoy life. Put a little bit of vacation in every day not just into every year.
