Ratan Rajpoot Faints While Dancing to Kanha’s Tunes
Due to her constant health issues, Ratan has been taking extra care of herself during the shooting hours. Even the production house has been taking needful measures to take care of Ratan’s diet and they have also made a doctor available on the set so that Ratan could be immediately attended to in case of emergencies. However due to frequent shuttling between her show’s shooting and rehearsing for Janmashtami special even of Choti Bhau, Ratan’s health deteriorated recently. Rata in an excellent dancer and she did beautifully during her rehearsals. On the final day of the shoot however, in middle of her performance, Ratan fainted and fell on the ground. Despite repeated efforts, she couldn’t be brought back to consciousness, setting panic amongst the unit members. She was taken to the doctors and the shooting was stalled. The production house had to shoot other acts till Ratan resumed shoot the next day.

Gaay-Leela
To bring in the authentic Vridunvan look to the premises, a cow and a calf were brought on the sets of Choti Bahu for its Janmashatmi special. While it gave the desired feel and look for the shoot, the producers were left with lot of trouble during the shooting and the cow kept hitting the dancers, everytime they moved around the area were the calf was tied. This made their dance moves very difficult. To add in to the distress both the cow and calf kept mooing continuously. They also dirtied the place. The act that could have been shot in 20 minutes took almost two hours to shoot.

Manav’s Acrophobia
‘The best way to overcome your fear is to face it’ they say… Sushant Singh, Manav of Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta came face to face with his fear while shooting of the Choti Bahu Janmashtami special. Sushant is scared of heights and the Dahi-Haandi act he performed on needed him to celebrate the festival in the Mharstrain 3way where they form a human pyramid and the guy on the top breaks a matki tied on a height above. Suhsnat who is an excellent dancer, freaked when he got to know that he has to climb on such height and initially requested the production house to lower the matki’s height. While the production house tried accommodating his request the overall look of the frame didn’t come up to their expectations. Hence they suggested using a body double. Sushant then decided to do the stunt and though the act was further difficult as it had to be performed in artificial rains, Sushant still managed to complete the act gracefully. Kudos to you Guy!
