Joke: How to sell a Bible

Three boys look for a summer job. Their preacher agrees to let them sell Bibles door to door, though he's hesitant about hiring the third boy because he suffers from a speech impediment.

After the first week of work they all meet at the church. The preacher asks the boys, "How many Bibles did you sell?"

The first boy says, "35."

The second boy says, "75."

The boy with the speech impediment says, "I-I-I s-s-sold 175."

The preacher is amazed and asks the boy how he did it.

The boy says, "I-I-I t-t-told them to b-b-buy t-t-them, or I'd r-r-read it to t-t-them."

Joke: One really hard question

The admissions interviewer at the school said, "I shall ask you either ten
easy questions or just one really difficult question. Think well before you
make up your mind!"

The boy thought for a while and said, "My choice is one really difficult
question."

"Well, good luck to you. You have made your own choice! Now tell me this:
What comes first, day or night?"

The boy was jolted into reality as his admission depended on the correctness
of his answer, but he thought for a while and said, "It's the day, sir!"

"How did you determine that?" the interviewer asked.

"Sorry, sir. You promised me that you would ask me only one difficult
question!"

Wild Planet Mobile Spy Ear

Imagine a toy that your kid will move. Give them a toy that will promise them the ability to be like a spy, to hear things from a distance.

Customer feedback:

They're so cute, using this to overhear the adults' conversation after dinner. The bug isn't exactly the most covert thing ever invented, but they think it is, so the adults pretend they don't see it and shape their talk accordingly. It's fun for all.

Wild Planet Mobile Spy Ear

Wild Planet Spy Gear Spy Night Scope

Product Features:
See 25 feet away, even in the dark!
Spring-loaded mechanism activates spotlight.
Green tinted lenses and "stealth mode" beam.
Award Winning Design.
Ultra Sophisticated Design!

Customer feedback:

1. It's basically red-lensed binoculars with a little light attached to the top, but my boys liked the way the light slides up into position when they press the buttons to turn it on. They use them as regular binoculars, night vision goggles, and as a simple flash light to play with the cat :-)
While it was not exactly what I expected it to be, my kids were more than happy with them.

2. My niece loved the toy for Christmas. She is into spy stuff and requested it for a gift. All the adults had to check them out too. Good choice.

Razor A Kick Scooter

The original kick scooter, the Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.
The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk.
Recommended for ages 5 and older, the Razor A will support a rider up to 143 pounds. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. When you're done riding, the Razor A folds down to a nicely compact size.

Specifications:

Scooter material: Aircraft-grade aluminum tube and deck
Wheel size: 98mm
Wheel bearings: ABEC-5
Brakes: Rear fender
Allen wrench: 5mm (not included)
Handlebar height: 33 inches (wheel to handlebar)
Weight: 6 pounds
Maximum rider weight: 143 pounds
Suspension: No
Wheelie bar: No
Kickstand: No
Folded dimensions: 23.75 x 4 x 7.25 inches

Customer feedback:

1. This is a great scooter. My children love it. It is easily folded, and it has a built in brake to slow it down. It looks very sleek with its silver paint and clear wheels. It is not big and bulky but very svelte. I recommend this scooter wholeheartedly, your kids and even you will love it.

2. My son started kindergarten this year, half a mile away from our home. He didn't enjoy walking the distance, but the scooter solved the problem. He just LOVES scooting around the streets, and mastered the technique within a week. Now getting home is fun. The scooter moves and works great. All of the kids in NYC have them - I've even heard of a kid who mastered the skill at age 2. I was really confused when I was shopping for a scooter...I wasn't sure from reading the ads, whether this scooter was actually appropriate for a 4 year old. It's been fine. I highly recommend this scooter for kids who want to get around quickly.

Customer feedback;

1. I've seen my share of wheeled toys, and was positively impressed with the quality of this product. It has a solid frame, suspension, regular inflated tires. I'm not afraid that after a few days of use it will break, given the rough use it will get of kids at that age. I took it for a short test drive myself, and the motor was strong enough to move and adult uphill.
Update (5/28): This ATV has seen a lot of use in the last few weeks, including many sliding wheel stunts, etc. After one particularly heavy right it stopped working with a blown fuse and control box. The one thing which is quite helpful is that Razor will actually sell repair parts for reasonable prices on their website, more than can be said about many other products. So if it does break, it's not necessarily doomed for the trash pile.

2. I have two children that own a dirt quad. The first child got one for a birthday gift, the second liked it so much that she got one for christmas ! These are quite well built, and very capable of handling difficult terrain. The only problem you have to avoid is too much water exposure. The quad can do some puddle jumping, but dont soak it.We have been very pleased with these quads.

India - Hindi Serial - Uttaran - the departure and re-arrival of Tapasya

Uttaran had a major scene ongoing for the past 2 weeks. The adored and pampered daughter of the house, Tapasya had been getting very jealous over the treatment that her parents had been according to Ichcha. Ever since the confrontation where Jogi Thakur was discovered to have been in the car when Damini's husband was killed in an accident many years back, Jogi Thakur (Ayub Khan) and his wife Divya have taken on much more responsibility for Damini and Ichcha and have got Ichcha admitted to the same school as Tapasya. Initially, Tapasya is happy, but as she sees that her parents are sharing their love now with Ichcha and her young mind is unable to understand that this does not mean that they love Tapasya less, she starts to hate Ichcha for taking the love of her parents.
In all this, Mausiji also keeps on provoking Tapasya, to the extent that Tapasya is now looking for a way to get Ichcha out of the house. She gets an opportunity when they go to the zoo for a school trip, and is there that Tapasya leaves Ichcha behind deliberately. Ichcha gets left behind, and wanders through the night, scared and dehydrated, entering the forest. She gets found over in the morning, and is then brought home. Mom arrested for neglecting 555 pound baby

Being obese has its own health problems, with diabetes, heart problems, liver, back problems and numerous other problems. For the case of people who are very obese, the terms is called 'morbid obesity' and requires urgent medical attention in order to reduce the weight and improve health. In cases such as these, the health of the patient is supreme and may require forceful medical attention; when you balance that against the obligations of the parent, then there can be conflicts. Consider the case of this lady whose son now weighs 555 pounds, and she has not been getting him the attention that he requires (link to article):

South Carolina authorities have located a 555-pound teenager and his mother, who faces a charge of violating a custody order, police said Thursday. The mother is being held in a detention center and will be extradited to South Carolina on an outstanding warrant, he said. "The understanding was that the individual was of the weight where it was decided by medical authorities that he needed treatment that was not being provided for by his mother," Armstrong said. Earlier in the day officials said the boy "is possibly at a stage of critical health risk."
Gray was supposed to appear in family court Tuesday with her son and failed to do so, the sheriff's office said. During the family court hearing, the boy was ordered into state custody because of medical neglect, as well as his mother's failure to appear. The Department of Social Services then contacted the sheriff's office, authorities said.

For a teenager, the parents bear a lot of responsibility for their well being and need to take this condition seriously.
