Full HD, or 1080p, contains 1.5 times more scanning lines than conventional HD TVs. More scanning lines mean more pixels, more details and a better picture. We just upgraded from a 10yr old huge tube tv to this. Granted that anything would be awsome in comparison, the picture is fabulous, its very light, thin, and energy efficient. It is weird not having any buttons on the tv itself, but I can kind of see why. Since it is so thin, the wire placement in the back is a bit strange, or different I should say from the monster tube tv we had. We had to get a HMDI cable to go with it to connect our DVD player, but other then that, no other item was needed. If you are going to mount it on the wall, you will need to purchase that separately. Luckily the DVD player we had was new enough to be an upconvert to Hi-def.

PROS:
- Light Weight.
- Picture quality is awesome.
- The screen surface does reduce reflections but does not eliminate them entirely.

CONS:
TV has an "edge-lit LED screen", which means the LED lights are along the edges of the screen shining inwards toward the center. Unfortunately, this makes for very uneven lighting across the screen. It's not noticeable during the day, but at night in a dark room watching a dark scene, there were a number of faint glowing streaks coming from the edges of the screen.

FEEDBACK
The picture quality of this Samsung LCD is [by far] the best as compared to Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, and LG.
Sound quality is the same as most other flat screen TVs.
The only thing that people need to get used to is watching movies on Blu-ray. It is so real that you feel like you're sitting in the studio. Hopefully this 'soap-opera' effect will be temporary.
